PRIOR - You Know Nothing.
PRIOR is a platformer in which the player must discover what has happened around them. At the beginning of the game, the player knows nothing of what's occurred, and must figure out the game's extensive story by piecing together clues scattered all around the facility they wake up in.
Among the other awards below, PRIOR has been nominated for four national awards in the Canadian Videogame Awards, alongside major triple-A titles as Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
PRIOR was developed for the Ludum Dare Compo 19, in 48 hours. It was an enormous success, earning awards like 3rd Most Fun, 4th Best Overall, and 8th Best Graphics out of 242 separate entries.
PRIOR has many features that enhance the game experience. These include:
An extensive, compelling storyline
Three unique endings
Unique platforming mechanics (like a Gravity-Nullifying device)
Immersive atmosphere with chilling music
Continue option (resume your game)
A large gameplay world (the Facility)
PRIOR was developed by the new indie game dev company krangGAMES, founded in 2010 by Nicholas Yonge. To learn more about krangGAMES, visit their website at www.kranggames.com, or connect with them on Twitter or Facebook.
PRIOR has already earned plenty of publicity and awards, though it has not been publicly released. Sponsoring PRIOR will allow your logo to be seen from across many venues on the internet, including krangGAMES.com and other established sites like Motherboard.tv, who did an interview with Nick Yonge regarding Ludum Dare and developing PRIOR.
